Laure Manaudou Nude Picture Controversy

Nude picture Laure ManaudouFrench swimmer Laure Manaudou is at the centre of a nude picture controversy. Joining the unfortunate company of Paris Hilton and others, in the last 24 hours 20 photos of Manaudou (and there is no doubt it is her) posing explicitly have circled around the internet. The photos, apparently taken from a tape, have set off the latest hardship for the world record holder and are bringing about a wealth of questions and possible legal action.

Her Italian swimmer former boyfriend Luca Marin is accused of posting video and pictures of Manaudou, who is the Olympic and world 400m world champion.
The pair had a spat at the European short course swimming championships in Hungary at the weekend.
"I know nothing about the video and have only seen the photos. Yes, it looks like it's really her but it is ridiculous to think it was me who put them there,'' Marin told the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Marin said: "I know nothing about the video and have only seen the photos. Yes, it looks like it's really her but it is ridiculous to think that it was me who put them there."

Marin, who lost his 400m European medley title to Hungary's Laszlo Cseh last Friday, also denied accusations from French witnesses that he had verbally abused Manaudou in public. "They are inventions. I only said that she had done a very rude thing (by throwing the ring away) and that I was happy she was no longer my girlfriend," he said.
The only comment on the situation from the Manaudou clan comes from Manaudou’s mother, who told My Free Sport, "I am vaguely aware (of the photos) but I have nothing to say on the subject. I didn’t see the photos. I haven’t spoken about it with Laure."

Clearly this is an unfortunate moment in the stellar career of the 21 year old Frenchwoman. Already dealing with an incredible amount of out of the pool drama, this has the potential to set back Manaudou’s Olympic hopes even further. As a swimming fan, I truly hope she can forge ahead.

Nude In South Beach Florida For The Sake Of Art

picture of nude in south beach florida image
A world renowned photographer will be asking hundreds of people to take off their clothes for the sake of art in Miami on Oct. 8, 2007. Spencer Tunick treated his 500 nude models to a topless lunch after photographing them on hotel balconies and on rafts in a pool. One has to wonder if Tunick's installations are beginning to border on self-parody. Artist Spencer Tunick, who photographs masses of people in the nude, will capture the image of 800 people sans clothes at the Sagamore Hotel for a piece that will be unveiled during Miami Beach's annual Art Basel festivities in December, reports CBS station WFOR-TV in Miami.

The first group of bare volunteers crowded 15 of the hotel's balconies that face east. When Tunick, perched with his cameras on a cherry picker, gave the word over a bullhorn, they all dropped their clothes. Tunick, who has shot naked mobs all over the world, wanted them in their birthday suits, no jewelry, no glasses, no nothing.

Kimane McKenzie, a 24-year-old website designer from Fort Lauderdale, was stressing when he showed up the hotel.
"I'm very nervous right now," he said, voice shaky. "But I've been bungee jumping, and I know the feeling. You hope for the best, and when it's over, you feel great. I do it for the thrill seeking I guess."
Tunick, whose images can fetch between $30,000 and $50,000, planned to shoot through most of the day and end the installation with a thank-you barbecue for participants. But he'll ask them to party topless. And he'll keep on shooting.

His Sagamore images will be unveiled in December during an Art Basel brunch at the hotel.
